Annisokay got their name from a Michael Jackson reference, which tells you something about the band's personality right there. The group formed in 2007 in Halle, Saxony Anhalt, and spent years grinding through demos and EPs before landing a deal with SPV GmbH in 2014. Their second album, Enigmatic Smile, cracked the German charts at number 68 in 2015, a solid milestone for a post hardcore act building their fanbase show by show. They've shared stages with Silverstein, Electric Callboy, Parkway Drive and Callejon, and racked up 72 shows across nine countries in 2015 alone. In 2016 they dropped an EP of hardcore Michael Jackson covers, because of course they did, and followed it up with Devil May Care, expanding their touring reach into the UK, Eastern Europe and beyond. Signing with Arising Empire in late 2017 marked a new chapter, and by 2018 they were already back in the studio working on album number four.
