Bad Bunny, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio in Puerto Rico, is the kind of artist who reshaped what Latin music could sound like on a global stage. His 2016 breakout track "Diles" landed him a record deal, and from there he moved fast, scoring a Billboard Hot 100 number one with "I Like It" alongside Cardi B and J Balvin, and a top five hit with "Mía" featuring Drake. His debut album X 100pre earned a spot on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, while YHLQMDLG became Spotify's most streamed album worldwide in 2020. He kept pushing boundaries from there. El Último Tour Del Mundo became the first all Spanish language album to top the US Billboard 200, and Un Verano Sin Ti was crowned the most successful album globally in 2022 by the IFPI. His later album Debí Tirar Más Fotos made history as the first Spanish language album to win the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. Outside music, he has appeared in films including Bullet Train and Cassandro, and even stepped into a WWE ring, winning the 24/7 Championship.
