Also known as: Cordae Dunston, Entendre
Cordae Amari West Brooks, who performs as Cordae, started out under the names Entendre and YBN Cordae as part of the hip hop collective YBN. His 2019 debut album The Lost Boy broke into the top 15 of the Billboard 200 and earned Grammy nominations for Best Rap Album and Best Rap Song for the Chance the Rapper-featuring single "Bad Idea". When YBN disbanded in 2020 he shed the prefix, continuing as Cordae. His second album From a Birds Eye View (2022) landed at the same chart position as his debut and drew comparable critical reception. His third album, The Crossroads, followed in November 2024 to positive reviews despite modest commercial performance.
