About

Henk Dissel is a Dutch singer who made his first real splash in 2008 when he took part in the TROS sterren.nl Academy talent programme and released his debut track '10 Seconden later'. A few years later he broke into the Single Top 100 with 'Denk jij nog wel aan mij', which held on in the chart for weeks and put him firmly on the map in the Netherlands. His 2012 cover of Michel Teló's 'Lange nacht' turned out to be his biggest hit, spending 17 weeks in the Single Top 100. That same year he followed it up with 'Een bom', another ten week chart run, and got to perform at the Amsterdam ArenA as part of the halftime show during the Toppers in Concert 2012 run. He later appeared on the SBS6 talent show Bloed, zweet & tranen in 2015, and in 2024 he showed up as one of the three Peter recognisers in the fourteenth edition of The Passion.
