About
Also known as: Madilyn Bailey Wold
Growing up in Boyceville, Wisconsin, Madilyn Bailey started writing songs at seven years old and was playing in the marching band at her high school before most people her age had figured out what they wanted to do. After graduating in 2011, she started posting acoustic covers on YouTube and quietly racked up over 100 million views, which caught the attention of a French label tied to Warner Music Group. The turning point came when her cover of David Guetta and Sia's 'Titanium' got airplay on Virgin Radio in France, charted in both France and Belgium, and led to her 2015 covers album Muse Box. She has since toured with Boyce Avenue in the US and Canada, headlined her first solo show in Paris in 2018, and taken a full band tour through China in 2019. That same year she promoted her original single 'Tetris' on the NBC Today show. Her original song 'Drunk on a Feeling' also made it onto the American TV series Station 19. In 2021 she turned up on America's Got Talent performing an original song built entirely from hate comments she had received, a clip that went on to get over 20 million YouTube views. She now has close to 9.54 million subscribers on the platform.
