About

Teen Daze is the project of Jamison Isaak, a Canadian electronic musician from Abbotsford, British Columbia, who built a following from the bedroom outward, catching the ear of Pitchfork early in his career. His sound roams comfortably across chillwave, ambient, house, and balearic beat, though he showed real range on Morning World, a 2015 record produced by John Vanderslice where he stepped up to the mic and leaned into indie pop territory. Signing to Lefse Records brought albums like All of Us Together and Glacier, while later releases on labels such as Paper Bag, Flora, and Cascine kept the catalog growing across a wide stretch of moods and textures. His 2021 album Interior, which he described as "an album of first loves refracted through prisms of wisdom, wounds, and wonder", took home the Juno Award for Electronic Album of the Year in 2023.
