About

Also known as: W S T R, W-S-T-R, W.S.T.R, W/S/T/R, Waster

Liverpool's WSTR have been grinding away in the pop punk scene since 2015, building a reputation through relentless touring and a run of releases that landed them deals with No Sleep Records, Hopeless Records, and eventually Life or Death Records. Their debut EP SKRWD, produced by Seb Barlow, introduced the band's sound, and their first full length Red, Green or Inbetween followed in early 2017. They kept the momentum going with Identity Crisis in 2018, a record led by singles including "Bad to the Bone" and "Silly Me". The lineup has shifted more than a few times over the years, but the band has stayed busy regardless. They supported acts like Neck Deep, As It Is, and Stand Atlantic on both sides of the Atlantic, and also headlined their own UK tours. A cover EP, Give Yourself a Hell, showed a playful side, featuring takes on songs by The 1975 and The All American Rejects. Their 2023 track "3 Days Sober" signals they are still very much active.
