Lintfabriek is a venue in Kontich established in 1982 as a youth center through a cultural exchange with Irish students. The building, over a hundred years old, was formerly a ribbon factory where packaging and curtain ribbons were manufactured, giving the venue its name. After initial closure in the late 1980s, it was revived in 1990 by Ronny Lambrechts, Michel Vanhille and volunteer staff, and continues to operate as a cultural space.
