Boys Noize, the project of Hamburg born DJ and producer Alexander Ridha, has been a driving force in electronic music since the mid 2000s, blending electro, techno, acid techno and EBM into a sound that is both club ready and genuinely uncompromising. His debut album Oi Oi Oi landed in 2007 and set the tone: hard edged, energetic, and not interested in sitting still. He followed it with a string of albums including Power, Out of the Black and Mayday, while also running his own Boysnoize Records label. His remix work is just as impressive as his originals, with credits ranging from Depeche Mode and Justice to Feist, Röyksopp and Bloc Party. He has collaborated closely with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, contributing to the Tron: Ares soundtrack and appearing on the Tron Ares: Divergence remix album. More recently he teamed up with Rico Nasty on the track Girl Crush, showing he is still happy to push into new territory.
