De Buze is a pop venue in Steenwijk and the surrounding region housed in a converted swimming pool and school building. Operating since 1974, it hosts pop concerts and serves as a rehearsal space for bands during the week. The 200 to 250 capacity venue is run independently by a board and around 30 volunteers, and features its own lighting and sound equipment.
