Subscribe to a concert calendar
Put the shows you care about straight into the calendar app you already use — and let new dates turn up there by themselves.
What you can subscribe to
Every artist, venue, city and festival page on Tourspider has its own calendar feed. Subscribe once and the feed keeps working: when the artist announces a new date, or the venue adds a show, it appears in your calendar without you doing anything.
- An artist — every upcoming date, wherever they play
- A venue — everything on at that stage
- A city — everything on in town
- A festival edition — the whole programme, day by day
- Your own agenda — every show you've marked as going
How to subscribe
On an artist, venue, city or festival page, use Subscribe and copy the calendar link. Add it in your calendar app as a subscribed calendar — “From URL” in Google Calendar, “New Calendar Subscription” in Apple Calendar, “Subscribe from web” in Outlook. It's a standard calendar feed (.ics), so anything that reads calendars can read it.
How often it refreshes is your calendar app’s decision — usually somewhere between every few hours and once a day. Nothing to install, and you can drop the subscription from within your calendar whenever you like.
Just the one show
On an event page, Add to calendar downloads that single show as a file you import once. Use that when you only want the one date, and a subscription when you want to keep following the artist or the venue.
Your own agenda
Members get a private feed of every show they have marked as going, from their account settings. Treat that link like a password: anyone who has it can read your agenda, so keep it off anywhere public.
