Allen Hinds is a Los Angeles based guitarist whose credits read like a who's who of smooth jazz and R&B royalty. He has played with Natalie Cole, Roberta Flack, The Crusaders, Boney James, Gino Vannelli, and a long list of others, racking up session work and live performances that span decades. His music has also crept into TV, with tracks showing up on shows like Pawn Stars, JAG, and Sons of Guns. Beyond the session world, Hinds has built a solid solo catalog, from Fact of the Matter in 2005 through to The Good Fight in 2024, showing he has plenty still to say as a guitarist. He also teaches at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, where he is an instructor and artist in residence, so his influence extends well beyond his own recordings.
