About
Best Fwends are a Fort Worth duo who built their following almost entirely outside the US, pulling in European festival slots at Iceland Airwaves and Øyafestivalen in Norway, and landing a Bacardi commercial in the UK. The song that ended up in that ad, "Bedroom Music", happened to be the very first track they ever recorded. Live, they keep it stripped back to just their voices and an iPod, and their sound gets compared to early Beastie Boys, though the band themselves shrug off any label, claiming they are not talented enough to have a proper "sound". Their full length "Alphabetically Arranged" came out in 2007 on Moshi Moshi Records, the same London indie that put out their earlier EPs. Beyond their own music, they have scored animated series for Frederator Studios, including Bravest Warriors and SuperF*ckers.
