About
Don West is an Australian soul musician who built early momentum the old fashioned way, playing live before he'd even put out a track. His first proper upload, "Money", landed on triple j Unearthed, and a 2020 follow up called "Equaliser" brought in guest vocals from Hayley Mary. Festival slots at SXSW Sydney and Byron Bay Bluesfest came before he'd released a full project, which says something about how his live show lands. West put out his debut EP in November 2024, then followed it up almost exactly a year later with his debut album Give Me All Your Love, which climbed to number 25 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Shortly after, he signed with Kobalt Music Group, a move that suggests his momentum is very much still building.
