Famke Louise made her first real splash in music in late 2017 with 'Op Me Monnie', a track that racked up national media attention partly because of the backlash it received. That controversy only helped: the single charted, and she kept the momentum going with 'Vroom' and 'Lit'. Then in March 2018 she teamed up with Ronnie Flex for 'Fan', which hit one million streams in a single day and shot straight to number one on the Dutch Single Top 100. That sealed her as a genuine pop force in the Netherlands. Her sound sits in the world of Dutch urban pop and rap, with features from artists like Bokoesam, Jayh Jawson, Bizzey and Idaly. She released her debut album NEXT in November 2020, while also keeping herself busy on Dutch television, including a stint on Expeditie Robinson and a memorable appearance as the Monkey on The Masked Singer.
