About
Best known for the body positivity anthem "Victoria's Secret", Jax is an American singer songwriter who first caught attention finishing third on season fourteen of American Idol. That 2022 single reached number 35 on the Billboard Hot 100, went Gold in the US, and charted across Australia, Ireland, Canada, Sweden, and New Zealand. The track was inspired by a girl she was babysitting, and even got a public thank you from the CEO of Victoria's Secret. Before that breakthrough, she put out the EP Funny in 2017, which cracked the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart, and her single "Like My Father" racked up 80 million streams on TikTok. Atlantic Records signed her in 2021, and she dropped her debut album Dear Joe in June 2024, landing at number nine on Spotify's US Albums chart. She also collaborated with Canadian rock band Simple Plan on a re recorded version of their track "Iconic" and joined them on their Australian tour.
