About

Mesto is the stage name of Melle Kiet Stomp, a Dutch DJ and producer from Amstelveen who started making house music at 14 and was already releasing tracks professionally at 15. His big break came through a connection with Martin Garrix, collaborating on "Bouncybob" and later "Wiee", the latter released on Garrix's own label Stmpd Rcrds and included in Garrix's Seven EP. That association helped put Mesto on the map fast. From there he built a solid catalogue across Spinnin' Records and Tiësto's Musical Freedom label, working with names like Tiësto, Felix Jaehn, Jay Hardway and Aloe Blacc. His sound has shifted across deep house, future house and drum and bass over the years, showing a willingness to move around rather than settle into one lane. "Wait Another Day" with Mike Williams picked up notable radio play on Radio 538, and he has appeared at events like the Amsterdam Dance Event and Dance Valley multiple times.
