About
Ned Gerblansky is a fictional character from the animated series South Park, best known as the loyal sidekick to his best friend Jimbo Kern. The two are inseparable, and their dynamic drives a handful of memorable episode plots. A Vietnam War veteran, Ned lost his arm when one of his own grenades went off in his hand, and as a result he can only speak through a voice box, which gives him one of the more distinctive presences in the show's supporting cast. He and Jimbo tend to show up whenever hunting, weapons or shady schemes are involved, whether that means trying to smuggle illegal fireworks from Mexico or teaching Tweek how to box.
