PARAMIDA is a Berlin based German DJ and producer with Persian roots who has carved out a genuine spot at the centre of the city's club culture as a resident at Berghain's Panoramabar. Her sets pull from a wide palette, and her label Love on the Rocks, which she launched in 2014 while working at OYE Records, reflects that restlessness. Releases on the imprint range from Italo and disco through to neo Goa trance, with the 2024 compilation Sky is the Limit marking the label's tenth anniversary and its 30th record. As a producer, she got started relatively recently. Her debut EP Dream Ritual came out in 2021, followed by Moonrise VII in 2022, and her third EP Devil's Destination in 2025, all on Love on the Rocks. She has spoken candidly about the years it took to earn opportunities that male peers picked up far earlier in their careers. In 2023 the BBC named her one of its 100 Women, and in 2024 she delivered a BBC Essential Mix, recognition that feels well overdue.
