Shubh, born Shubhneet Singh and also known as Shubhdeep Singh, is a Punjabi rapper and singer based in Brampton, Ontario, who went from releasing singles to landing on charts across four countries in just a couple of years. His 2022 track "Baller", made with producer Ikky, became his most streamed song and cracked the Canadian Hot 100. His debut album Still Rollin dropped in 2023, debuting at number 16 on the Billboard Canadian Albums Chart, with "Cheques" peaking at number 3 on Billboard India Songs. Still Rollin cemented his position in the Punjabi music space, blending rap and melodic sensibilities that clearly connect with a global South Asian audience. He followed the album with the single "One Love" and then his debut EP Leo in early 2024. The same year he put out "King Shit", keeping a steady flow of new material going. His India tour in late 2023 was cancelled amid controversy, though he publicly stated his connection to India and received support from fellow artists including AP Dhillon and Karan Aujla.
