Comedy Theater in de Nes is a stand up and cabaret venue in Amsterdam's historic Nes street, housed in a converted tobacco auction building. The 250 capacity theater features two resident shows (Comedy Explosion and Op Sterk Water) with frequently changing programming, rarely scheduled more than two months in advance. The space retains authentic architectural elements from its former use and includes a balcony with seats from the former Nieuwe de la Mar Theater. The venue doubles as a social hub for comedians after performances and is equipped for television recording.
