The Markt is an open air square in Delft that hosts various events, concerts and festivals throughout the year. Surrounded by historic buildings including the Town Hall and Nieuwe Kerk, as well as numerous cafes and restaurants, the square can accommodate between 5,000 and 10,000 visitors depending on the layout of terraces and facilities.
