Art of Arté- Small Habits with Big Impacts

When Nature Calls Biohacking Center is a wellness space on the Prinsengracht in Amsterdam that has become a regular, if unusual, stop on the concert and club calendar. It is not a music venue in the conventional sense. The center describes itself as an optimisation space where artists, industry professionals and festival visitors can recharge and connect without alcohol, and its programming reflects that, mixing sound, breathwork, yoga, cacao rituals and other biohacking sessions with live DJ sets and performances. Most of its music activity happens around the Amsterdam Dance Event. During ADE the center hosts a run of morning and daytime sessions, several of them in collaboration with the Pete Tong DJ Academy and, in some cases, AlphaTheta. These include breathwork with live sound, yin yoga with cacao and ambient music, pilates followed by breakfast and matcha, and talks aimed at people working in music, such as a nutrition masterclass for artists and sessions on small habits and creative goal setting. The tone is closer to deep listening and ambient sound than to a club night. A hypnosis, sound and cacao session and a spinal reset and mobility class are also part of the lineup, with spatial sound as a recurring element. One of the best known events is The Calm Down, a music and wellness experience from the independent label Avant Garden, staged inside the center. It pairs a live music program with restorative yoga, meditation with acupressure, a cacao ritual, Reiki and reflexology, and is designed as a place to slow down during the busiest weekend of the dance music year. Other promoters have used the space too, including a free daytime RésHAU event during ADE 2025.
