De Spot is a cultural venue in Middelburg hosting concerts, dance events and open mic nights. The space serves as a platform for local bands and features a diverse programming of music and cultural events. The venue operates primarily through a volunteer team of around 60 people who manage the bar, sound and lighting, promotion and kitchen operations.

Singer-songwriter Pieternel joins Dutch bluegrass outfit Blue Grass Boogiemen for a fully acoustic club show at De Spot in Middelburg on 12 February 2027. The duo, whose chemistry first sparked at the Rotterdam Bluegrass Festival, brings a varied programme ranging from lively musical fireworks to intimate, hushed ballads. This performance is part of their 2027 club tour across the Netherlands.
