TivoliVredenburg is a contemporary music complex situated in the centre of Utrecht, Netherlands, featuring five acoustically distinct halls designed for a variety of genres including symphonic, pop, jazz, chamber music, and dance. Opened in 2014 as a merger of the former Tivoli Oudegracht and Muziekcentrum Vredenburg, the venue attracts around 1.3 million visitors per year.

Dutch cover band Blanko (performing as Blanko & Friends) recreates Nirvana's iconic 'MTV Unplugged in New York' session live at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht. The show features faithful performances of songs such as 'Come As You Are' and 'Where Did You Sleep Last Night?', with narrator Esther Lindenbergh weaving the story of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love between the songs.
