Theater Geert Teis is a mid sized regional theater in the center of Stadskanaal, on the border between Groningen and Drenthe. It functions as the cultural hub of the region and presents approximately 130 professional performances yearly across a broad range of disciplines including theater, cabaret, musicals, classical and popular concerts, opera, operetta, dance and ballet. The theater seats 628 people and its foyer can host conferences, presentations and other events.
