AFAS Live is a concert hall located on ArenA Boulevard near Amsterdam ArenA. The main performance space, called the Black Box, covers 3000 square meters and holds 5500 people. A smaller venue called Beat Box accommodates 700 guests. The venue has received multiple Pollstar Award nominations for best international concert venue and has operated under its current name since 2017, previously known as Heineken Music Hall.

On 16 January 2027, The Gathering reunites with their original lineup, including Anneke van Giersbergen, for an exclusive final show at AFAS Live in Amsterdam, concluding their 30th anniversary Mandylion tour. The extended set will celebrate both Mandylion (1995) and Nighttime Birds (1997), featuring songs the band has not played live in many years. This one-off performance marks the end of a worldwide tour spanning 29 shows.
