Simplon is a live music venue in Groningen located at Boterdiep 69, a five minute walk from the city center. Operating for over 30 years, the venue occupies a former raincoat factory that was converted into a youth cultural space before undergoing major renovation to become a pop music hall. It hosts diverse musical genres including pop, rock, metal, hip hop, urban, punk and house music.

Simplon Groningen hosts an evening of regional talent from the Hit the North collective, centered around The Last Mandrill's EP release. The Last Mandrill plays alternative collage-pop with '90s influences, MOMSNAME is a four-piece from Leeuwarden blending alt-rock, shoegaze, emo, and math-rock, and Eolith is a Groningen-based dream-rock band exploring themes of loss and relationships with melancholic guitar sounds.
