Grounds is a music venue within Rotterdam's World Music & Dance Centre that programs independent and boundary pushing music across genres, with emphasis on emerging artists. The programming spans latin, hip hop, jazz, and singer songwriter styles. The venue also operates as a café serving coffee and light meals, hosting acoustic performances and offering free WiFi. Established in 2006 as WDMC, it adopted the name Grounds three years ago to avoid confusion with the larger shared building that houses Codarts and SKVR.
