Theater Orpheus opened in Apeldoorn on 12 March 1965 and ranks among the larger theaters in the Netherlands. Following major renovations in 2003 and 2004, its largest hall was updated to accommodate approximately 1300 seats with good acoustics, making it well suited for concerts, musical theater, opera and classical music.
