Xinix is a music venue in Nieuwendijk that evolved from Promani, a pop stage established in 1973. The venue moved to its current purpose built building in January 2008, designed specifically to provide an optimal sensory experience for performances. Since 2008, Xinix has been united with SLIM, a music support organization that also operates rehearsal spaces in the venue's basement and organizes the annual SLIM Autumn Festival in November featuring local bands. The venue hosts regular performances and monthly XGP evenings that celebrate its early history.
