Cleveland death metal outfit 200 Stab Wounds have been carving out a reputation for brutally focused, no frills death metal since forming in 2019. They hit the ground running with their debut EP Piles of Festering Decomposition in 2020, then followed up with the full length Slave to the Scalpel in 2021, quickly building a devoted following in the underground metal scene. After signing to Metal Blade Records, they released their second album Manual Manic Procedures in 2024, a move that signals serious momentum for the band. The lineup centers on Steve Buhl handling lead guitar and vocals, with Owen Pooley on drums, Raymond MacDonald on rhythm guitar, and Todd Thompson on bass.
