About
Also known as: Rare House, 레어하우스, 팔이메이저
82MAJOR took three years and a string of increasingly loud releases to land their first music show win, finally getting it on Show Champion with "Like Fire", the lead single from their second single album Heat. The six piece boy band from Seoul, made up of Cho Seong il, Yoon Ye chan, Nam Seong mo, Hwang Seong bin, Park Seok joon and Kim Do gyun, is signed to Great M Entertainment, and their name is a nod to South Korea's calling code plus the word major, as in a group that wants to represent Korea. They debuted in October 2023 with the single album On, built around "Sure Thing" and "First Class". From there the releases kept coming. The EP Beat by 82 arrived in April 2024 with "Choke", followed by X 82 and the lead single "Stuck" that October. Silence Syndrome, with the "TAKEOVER" video, landed in April 2025, and "Sign" got its own music video in April 2026.
