About
Also known as: Lehlogonolo Ronald Mataboge
A Reece had his debut album, Paradise, sitting at number one on iTunes less than 24 hours after it dropped in 2016. The Pretoria rapper, songwriter and producer got his break through Ambitiouz Entertainment with the single "Couldn't", featuring Emtee, then left the label after a public dispute and went independent. He formed The Wrecking Crew with producer MashBeatz and others, which later became Rvbberband Records, and kept releasing at a steady clip: albums, EPs, and collaborations with Ecco the Beast, Wordz and his brother Jay Jody. The 2020s brought a Platoon distribution deal, the mixtape Today's Tragedy, Tomorrow's Memory, and his third studio album P2: The Big Hearted Bad Guy, which also hit number one on iTunes. He followed that with Kill The King, a mixtape with PistolWhipPapi that pulled in 3 million Spotify streams in its first week.
