Abaddon

About

Abaddon started out in 1999 as a solo project of Nullifer Bones, with live musicians helping out. Their first release was an untitled demo that dropped on his birthday, August 2, followed a month later by the Entitled Master EP on limited cassette. The band now sits in Italy's extreme metal scene, in Emilia Romagna, and is closely tied to sister band Spectrum X. The lineup grew when Candy Bones joined on bass in 2006, and for a while the sound leaned towards atmospheric black metal and dark ambient, with classical touches. Much of that material ended up on Spectrum X albums released through the Japanese label Darkest Labyrinth, and the pair even toured Osaka and Tokyo in 2008. From 2010 they went back to making music only as Abaddon, with Zack Undead joining on second guitar. A limited USB and t shirt package for the single The Bringer of Light followed in 2012, and in 2017 they put out Dominator and Mark Ov Emptiness, both with official videos, ahead of a new album.
