About
acid!, formerly known as Black Acid, is a collective made up of four members: damy, Dashaeno, Smitty and sor. Each brings their own distinct style and musical sensibility to the group, and the result is a sound that moves fluidly between hiphop, alternative rap and experimental electronic music. The blend never sits still, with the different influences constantly bleeding into one another. Alongside their work as a collective, all four members have been developing solo projects and building a growing community around the act. Planet Acid! is their annual showcase event, a gathering where their full world comes together, typically featuring guest artists and unexpected programming alongside the main performance.
