Action Item is a four piece pop rock band from Bergen County, New Jersey, probably best known for pulling Nick Jonas into their orbit. Jonas co wrote and co produced their song Learn To Fly, released in July 2011, and even showed up in the music video alongside Drake Bell. That kind of co sign helped put the band on the map well before their 2013 album Resolution cracked the Billboard 200 at number 72. The band got their start self releasing music on Myspace before heading to Chicago in early 2008 to record their debut EP The World And I with Tom Schleiter of Powerspace. They spent that summer grinding through east coast tours and playing the New Jersey stop of Warped Tour. Their song Brave later got a YouTube treatment with Kurt Hugo Schneider and Sam Tsui, racking up a whole new audience online. Core members Anthony Li and Brian Cag share vocal duties, often singing together on the same tracks.
