About
Dutch rapper Adje, born Julmar Simons in Amsterdam, built his name through a string of collaborative projects and a knack for bridging underground credibility with mainstream appeal. After starting out writing in English, a link up with the Tuindorp Hustler Click from Amsterdam Noord pushed him toward rapping in Dutch, a shift that defined his career. His 2013 debut album Vossig, fully produced by Reverse and featuring Jamaican reggae star Beenie Man, landed at number 14 in the Dutch Album Top 100. He is also the half brother of fellow rappers Hef and Crooks, with whom he has released collaborative projects. Beyond solo work, Adje has a real talent for showing up on the right records at the right time. In 2017 he featured on "Coño" by Puri and Jhorrmountain, a track that racked up over 80 million YouTube views and 100 million Spotify streams, and was later covered by Jason Derulo. His discography keeps growing, with albums alongside Architrackz, Roselilah, and a reunion record with Reverse called Legacy dropping in 2022.
