About
Berlin's Agonoize have been one of the harder edged acts in the aggrotech and dark electro scene since forming in late 2002. The trio, made up of Mike Johnson handling composition, programming, and production, Oliver Senger on composition and programming, and Chris L. delivering lyrics and vocals, built their reputation on a relentless, ultraviolent sound that earned them a solid following in the European industrial underground. Their early releases on BLC Productions gave way to a long run with Out of Line Music, where albums like 999, Sieben, and Hexakosioihexekontahexa cemented their place in the genre. Aside from their own records, Agonoize have been a go to for remixes across the scene, reworking tracks for acts like Suicide Commando, Grendel, and Oomph!. Their output has kept coming well into the 2020s, with Revelation Six Six Sick dropping in 2021, showing no sign of them softening their approach.
