About
Also known as: The Agressor
Agressor have been flying the flag for French death and thrash metal since 1986, which puts them among the earliest acts in that scene anywhere in Europe. Anchored by guitarist and vocalist Alexandre Colin Tocquaine, who has been there from day one, the band has cycled through an extensive lineup over the decades while keeping a consistent, aggressive sound. Their discography spans from raw early demos like The Merciless Onslaught and Satan's Sodomy through to full lengths such as Neverending Destiny, Towards Beyond, and Symposium of Rebirth. The 2006 album Deathreat is their most recent studio record, and a 2004 compilation brought together their earliest demo material for anyone wanting to dig into the origins of one of France's most enduring metal acts.
