About
Also known as: Harrison Armstrong, Harrison James Armstrong
Manchester rapper Aitch broke through in 2018 with "Straight Rhymez", a track that quickly turned local buzz into national attention. Born Harrison James Armstrong, he built momentum fast, dropping the EP AitcH2O in 2019, which hit number three on the UK Albums Chart, and scoring eleven top 10 singles in the UK along the way. His collaborative track "Rain" with AJ Tracey and Tay Keith peaked at number three, while "Baby", a track sampling Ashanti's 2003 hit "Rock wit U", shot to number two on the UK Singles Chart. His debut album Close to Home arrived in 2022 and also landed at number two on the UK Albums Chart. One of its standout moments is "My G", a song about his sister Gracie, who has Down syndrome. Aitch donated part of the video budget to the Down's Syndrome Association and serves as an ambassador for the charity. His grime rooted style blends sharp wordplay with trap and drill production.
