AJ Tracey, born Ché Wolton Grant, has built one of the more versatile catalogs in British rap, pulling from grime, cloud rap, UK drill, and dancehall without sounding like he's ticking boxes. His 2019 self titled debut album is the centrepiece of his discography, peaking at number three on the UK Albums Chart and earning a Silver certification from the BPI. The lead single "Ladbroke Grove" hit number three on the UK Singles Chart and went platinum, a genuine crossover moment that cemented his name beyond the underground. Before that breakthrough, he was already building momentum through pirate radio appearances and a string of EPs. "Butterflies" featuring Not3s, released in 2018, was his first proper commercial hit, cracking the top 20. His second album Flu Game followed in 2021, featuring "West Ten", "Anxious", and "Bringing It Back" with Digga D, the latter debuting at number five on the UK Singles Chart. He has also worked alongside Skepta, Dave, Giggs, Mabel, and his cousin Big Zuu.
