About
Alan Braxe is probably best known as one third of Stardust, the project behind "Music Sounds Better With You", a 1998 French house anthem that shifted over three million copies and remains one of the most recognisable tracks of its era. The Paris born producer built that track alongside Thomas Bangalter and Benjamin Diamond, but had already made his debut a year earlier with "Vertigo", released on Bangalter's Roulé label. After Stardust, Braxe launched his own Vulture imprint and teamed up with Fred Falke, putting out "Running (Intro)" in 2000, a track widely regarded as a French touch classic. His remixing work has stretched from Beyoncé to underground acts, and his production credits run to nearly 100 titles. More recently he joined forces with his cousin DJ Falcon under the name Braxe + Falcon, signing to Smugglers Way, an imprint of Domino, and releasing music that keeps the French house flame alive, including a 2022 single featuring Panda Bear on vocals.
