That run includes the entire Back to the Future trilogy, Forrest Gump, Cast Away, and The Polar Express, which earned Silvestri Grammy wins for both the song "Believe" and the Cast Away end credits suite. Beyond Zemeckis, Silvestri's reach across blockbuster cinema is remarkable. He scored The Bodyguard, Predator, The Abyss, Lilo and Stitch, and four Marvel Cinematic Universe films, with his Avengers theme becoming one of the most recognisable pieces of modern orchestral film music. His work on the documentary series Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey picked up two Emmy Awards.
