Ali Brustofski built a serious following on YouTube long before most artists figured out what to do with the platform. Starting with her first upload in December 2008, she racked up nearly 100 million views covering everyone from Katy Perry to David Guetta, and her channel's appeal was always in how genuinely she delivered songs that weren't her own. But she's more than a covers artist. She won the NY Songwriters Circle Young Songwriter Award in 2009, beating out over 4,000 entries with her original song "Rewind", which later showed up in two episodes of NBC's The Voice. In 2012 she competed on The CW's singing competition The Next: Fame Is at Your Doorstep, where she was mentored by Gloria Estefan and worked with Joe Jonas, Nelly, and John Rich. Her debut EP Dream Big followed in 2013, funded through a crowdfunding campaign and featuring singles that premiered on Z100 and RyanSeacrest.com.
