About
Alien Chicks are a post punk power trio from Brixton, and their music plays like a surrealist commentary on modern Britain. Warped rhythms, eclectic time signatures and unexpectedly nostalgic harmonies all collide in songs that feel like a twisted fairytale. The energy and humour they bring to their live shows make the whole thing genuinely addictive. Relatively young as a band, they have already built a solid following and earned support slots alongside English Teacher, Lambrini Girls, Sprints and Big Special. Their EP toys gives a good idea of where they are headed: a genre that keeps shifting under your feet, played with conviction and a refusal to sit still.
