About
Amber Mark blends alternative R&B, soul, hip hop, and bossa nova into something that genuinely feels like its own thing. She put herself on the map with her 2017 EP 3:33am, a deeply personal project where each track maps onto one of the six stages of grief following the loss of her mother. The song "Monsoon" even weaves in samples of her mother's voice, which gives the record a haunting intimacy few debut projects manage. She followed that up with the EP Conexão in 2018, which featured the single "Love Me Right". Beyond her solo work, she appeared as a featured artist on Chromeo's Head over Heels, an album that earned a Grammy nomination for Best Engineered Album, Non Classical. Her debut full length Three Dimensions Deep arrived in January 2022, and she has since added a sophomore album, Pretty Idea, to her catalogue. She is also a singer, songwriter, and producer, handling multiple sides of her craft herself.
