About
Also known as: Ambré Perkins, India Perkins
Ambré got noticed in 2015 after teaming up with Kehlani on a cover of Drake's "Preach", and Kehlani then took her out on the road as an opener. That same year she dropped her first mixtape, Wanderlust, followed by 2090's in 2016, and a full length 3000° in 2022. Along the way she co wrote two tracks, "Changes" and "U", for H.E.R.'s self titled album, the one that won the Grammy for Best R&B Album. The New Orleans alternative R&B singer signed to Roc Nation in 2019, and the label put out her 10 track EP Pulp, which includes the single "fubu". She has also popped up on tracks by TOKiMONSTA, Keys N Krates and Ryan Hemsworth, and even starred in the video for Hemsworth's "The Butterfly Effect". More recently she shared the video for "Lost Without U".
