Amrinder Gill has built one of the most distinctive careers in Punjabi music, moving fluidly between soulful pop, bhangra, and film soundtracks without losing his own voice along the way. His breakthrough came with the album Dildarian in 2006, and he kept building from there: the Judaa series became a defining chapter, with Judaa winning a Brit Asia Music Award for best album and Judaa 2 topping the Asian music charts with tracks like "Mera Deewanapan". Judaa 3 followed in 2021, keeping that thread alive with "Chal Jindiye" trending on release. Beyond recording, Gill has made a real mark as an actor in Punjabi cinema, appearing in films like Angrej, Lahoriye, and the Chal Mera Putt series, the second of which became one of the highest grossing Punjabi films of its time. He also co founded Rhythm Boyz Entertainment, a label that helped launch artists including Gurshabad. Songs he has contributed to film soundtracks, such as "Akhar" from Lahoriye and "Kurta Suha" from Angrej, have picked up award nominations in their own right.
