ANDRO

About

Andro first got noticed in 2014 when he wrote the vocals for Quest Pistols' song "Santa Lucia", and he never really looked back. The Ukrainian born Russian Roma rapper and singer put out his debut single "Udivi menya" in 2016, then had a big 2019: "Inoplanetyanin" sat on the Shazam charts for a full year, peaking in the top 9, and he followed it with his debut album MoonFlame, which cracked the top 10 on Apple Music in Russia. The collabs kept the momentum going. "Madam" with Jony topped both VK and Apple Music in 2020, "X.O." with The Limba landed in the VK top 5, and "Dragon" with Scriptonite did well across the internet charts in 2021. That same year came his second album, Jani Gipsy, which also hit the Apple Music top 10. One critic called MoonFlame talented and tasteful but a bit too samey, which is a fair summary of an artist who tends to stick to his lane and nail it.
